Heather, Jessica, Jemma and Ailsa have all done very well today and qualified for the Under 18 Scottish Girls matchplay. Heather led the county qualifiers with a superb aggregate score of 150 (+ and in doing so won the best under 16 nett score for the 2nd round.

The closing date for the County Golf Open Meeting is fast approaching.  You have until Monday 18 July to enter this competition which will be held at Peterculter Golf Club on Tuesday 16 August.  Thois event is open to ALL members of a Scottish Ladies County Golf Association.  Entrants can choose to play with their friends or elect to play with someone else so it is a great opportunity to have a day out and play with friends or to meet and play with new people.

Scottish Mixed Foursomes
The closing date for the Scottish Mixed Foursomes competition is also on Monday 18 July.  This is just a mixed open like any other and is open to any mixed pair that satisfy the entry criteria.  The only difference is that the scratch prizes get the priority.  This year’s competition is at Mortonhall Golf Club in Edinburgh which by all accounts is in excellent condition and is well worth the trip.

Well done to our team for a fantastic effort at this year's jamboree at Inchmarlo.  Although we fell agonisingly short of a successful outcome on the final day, everyone played their hearts out.

Special mention to Rebecca Wilson for 6 wins out of 6 and for forming a formidable and unbeaten partnership with Ailsa Summers.

I don't have all the results, but the Silver Trophy was won by Mary Summers with 74-4 =70 and the Bronze trophy was won by Reena Rutherford with nett 72.
